How do formatting, snapshots, Word download, and print work?

Use formatting for document structure, create snapshots at meaningful milestones, and export only when the draft is ready to leave Pen's Work.

The editor supports headings, alignment, lists, tables, text color, and highlights. Formatting is stored with the document and appears in the customer view.

Snapshots are named checkpoints

Create a snapshot before a major rewrite or before sending a version for review. A snapshot is read-only history; it does not currently provide one-click restoration, so keep working in the current document.

Choose Word or print for the next step

Word download creates an editable file for work outside Pen's Work. Print opens a clean body-only view and the browser print dialog, which can also save a PDF. Check page breaks, fonts, tables, and images after export because desktop software may lay them out differently.
