Documents
The expert workspace and the customer's shared document view.
- How do I create and share a document?Create the draft in Documents, choose its access settings, and copy the customer link.
- How do comments and line markers work?Click a line marker to put that line number into a comment, then describe the exact correction or question.
- How do formatting, snapshots, Word download, and print work?Use formatting for document structure, create snapshots at meaningful milestones, and export only when the draft is ready to leave Pen's Work.
- How do I request a bank transfer from a client?Save the account and currency in your profile, then use Payment request in the document and enter the amount.
Widget
Receive document requests from your own website and continue them in Pen's Work.
- How do I create and install the widget?Create a widget in the expert console, register the website domain, and paste the issued script and client key into that site.
- What happens after a customer submits a widget request?Pen's Work creates a customer workspace and a linked expert document, then notifies the expert to continue the work.
- How is widget access protected, and how does a customer resume?The allowed domain protects where the widget can open, while a per-request token protects the customer's individual workspace.
