How does pricing work?

Pen's Work has no monthly base fee. It charges US $0.15 per document day. One document day means one document used with a client on one calendar day. It starts when a client keeps the document visible for 10 seconds or first submits facts, a request, or a comment.

Each document is counted at most once per expert-local calendar date. On a later day, it is counted again only after the expert has edited the document or the client submits a new input or comment, so a passive reread is not charged.

If the unbilled balance is below US $3, it carries forward instead of being charged. There is no monthly cap. View usage and billing status under Settings → Usage billing.
